Simon Leclerc, Ph.D

I just started a new postdoc at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland in the group of Maija Vihinen-Ranta. I am working on the European project HORIZON2020 CoCID, which is developing a correlative microscope between of XRays and fluorescence microscopy for biological samples. I am interested in the chromatin distribution changes in HSV infected cells, and how the virus can exit the nucleus. My work consists mainly in the sample preparation, imaging using the synchrotron (ALBA) or CoCID prototype (Dublin), then analysis and interpreting the data.
